Optical properties of 1D quasiperiodic structures containing graphene-based hyperbolic metamaterials

The optical properties of quasiperiodic structures such as Fibonacci, Thu-Morse, and Cantor sequences containing graphene-based hyperbolic metamaterial have been investigated using the transfer matrix method effective medium theory at THz region. metamaterials were considered a homogeneous anisotropic with their axis tilted respect to interface layers. It is shown that these may some band gaps in both elliptical frequency regions. Moreover, effects layers, orientation graphene surface conductivity on transmission absorption are discussed. found all selected for TE TM polarizations different. Also, polarization depend chemical potential metamaterial. However, case, only potential. These interesting results be used design controllable terahertz polarizers or filters.
